Mrs A Gillham

Amber started her teaching career as an NQT at Scargill Infant School in 2000.  During this time, she had experience of teaching all year groups and was part of the Senior Leadership Team that supported two very successful Ofsted inspections.  Amber has completed the NPQML qualification and in 2015 completed the NASENCO award (National Award for SEND Co-ordination).

When Hornchurch Academy Trust was formed, Amber was able to share her expertise in SEND and extend her influence by leading SEND across the three founding Trust schools.  This developed into a central Trust role as Group SENCo supporting all six schools in the Trust to promote, develop and lead effective SEND provision.
