All schools within the Hornchurch Academy Trust published new and revised curriculum plans September 2021.
Each year, the Trust reviews its curriculum to ensure that it continues to meet the needs of all children in delivering high quality and inclusive education. This means that each year, any updates are published on individual websites.
Trust Curriculum Statement:
The Hornchurch Academy Trust curriculum is both inclusive and progressive. It is designed to support learners in their journey from early years to secondary education, through experiences which harness their intellectual curiosity and natural enthusiasm whilst nurturing their self-esteem, confidence, resilience and well-being. We believe that all learners are entitled to an education that equips them with the knowledge, skills and values they need in order to embrace the opportunities, experiences and challenges they encounter; preparing them for a future that they want to live in.
