Mr C W Hobson

Chris was Headteacher at Whybridge Junior School between January 2010 and October 2019, leading the school through 4 increasingly successful Ofsted inspections at the school; most recently, October 2019.  He also left his role as Headteacher with the schools outcomes ranked first in the local authority and also 111^th nationally (The Times Parent Power top 250 schools published 22^nd November 2020). 

Chris has previously worked at several other primary schools within Havering and has worked across the entire primary range.  He has completed the NPQH and NPQEL qualifications and is an Associate member of Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors.

Chris initiated the creation of the Hornchurch Academy Trust in 2016 and subsequently led its formation in 2017, its subsequent growth in 2018 and most recently 2022.

Chris is the Accounting Officer for the Trust.
